Finally the day has come! The cruise has just begun and we are all very excited though hard work waits for us. This cruise will definitely not be a vacation on Santorini.

Right after the watches’ announcement, the Greek group splits the work that has to be done. Danai and Marialena work on the deck for the OBS deployment and Evi is in front of the screens in the lab. My goodness how many screens does Evi have to check? She is terrified but hopefully the technicians are always there to help if needed.

The first week has ended. Fortunately the weather was good and the sea very calm. But will it be the same the next days? Stay tuned…
